Masterminds
When Walt Disney wanted to create Disneyland, he had no idea what that would look like or be. At the time he was running an animation studio doing films and cartoons. When he decided that Disneyland needed to become a reality, he took a few select people and put them in a trailer in the parking lot with a white board and nothing more. Slowly through conversations and explorations of the various thoughts of this group, plus adding more and more people, Disneyland, as we know it today became a reality. If you were to ask him if this is what he thought it would be on the day he went into that trailer with this group, he would tell you that he had no idea what it would end up being, he just knew that something wonderful and different needed to be created.
These Mastermind groups are based on that same premise, we don’t know where the new markets are for our businesses, but we are adamant that we won’t let another day pass without working on this. Thus, this program starts with small, internal groups where people have volunteered or have been selected to participate. Using a unique, proprietary process of facilitation, Barbara Brannen will guide these groups in the initial phase of getting started on this journey.
These groups will surface the collective wisdom of the organization and create a strong future for everyone.
The groups take on everything from learning new business ideas to tackling the events of the day for the organization. More importantly these groups are facilitated to think about things no one has thought about before, talk about what others are afraid to talk about and literally ensure that your future is being created by the best and brightest in your organization.
In these small groups leaders are born, current leaders teach, and everyone learns. In these groups the collective wisdom of the group brings solutions, creates new wisdom and allows innovation to flourish.
This is an ideal solution to utilize when you have a lot to accomplish, and challenges to meet. It is also an ideal solution when things are just fine, but down the line, you may be susceptible to being “outgrown” or overshadowed by others.
This saves you the time, money and trouble of trying to send people off to outside programs, while at the same time creates internal groups to work on the major challenges in your organization.

Here is a brief synopsis of how it works:
MASTERMIND PROGRAM
• Facilitated Groups of Five to Seven will meet only 2 hours once a month
The group will identify what they do well, where they could be better and then take on thoughts that no one has taken on before.
Find evidence of what we can be through a journaling process
Get better at creating a strong future
Find mutual support within the group for their personal growth
Each participant will be accountable to contribute and report on what they are finding
Learn new things all the time about leadership and the organization
Tackle the big issues
Expose new ideas
